Memphis is not only home to Elvis and Graceland... But also Sun records, where the likes of Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison and BB King all recorded hit records. The studio is still recording to this day and open to the public, with tours every hour. Everything is the same as it was then!
But if you go to Memphis, Graceland CANNOT be missed! It is better than the hype, cooler than you can imagine and makes me jealous of anyone who lived during his time! Elvis was King! King of Style!
If you are not a fan of Elvis before visiting you will leave with a new found love for him!
Memphis also has TONS of junk shops, thrift stores and good spots for all you junk junkies!
