If there is one thing that is southern, it's MANNERS!
Its not just Thank yous....it goes way beyond that. It is a culture that is engrained in you as a young child.
It shows respect for elders, superiors, parents, and an appreciation for anyone giving you a helping hand! Manners show that you are listening and that you understand, not just for children but for adults the same. Sayings and gestures that you see everywhere from schools to the gas station, from children to adults, at the drive thru and on the phone...yep we are just down right nice! Bless your heart!

Opening a door
Giving up a seat for a lady or elder

Letting someone go ahead of you in line
Helping with groceries
