Kitsch Velvet Paintings

We have recently been on a velvet painting kick! They are so tacky, over the top and off the wall.

Painted on black velvet pulled around frame for canvas, the paintings range in sizes and tacky subjects....Elvis, Jesus, nude women, circus clowns, and unicorns too name a few. The list goes on and on.... many paintings came from Mexico during the 70s, but they were also mass produced in the United States.

These paintings are great to collect, the stranger the better.
