Does he want a Retro Woman?

So does your man want that retro woman? Here is the guide to what a "good" housewife was expected to do int he 1950s.....

The divorce rate in this country has been at  50% for the last decade, this is a tremendous difference from the 1950s, 1960s and even the 1980s.

Yes, times HAVE changed, but does this make marriage harder or do we make it harder? Well, if I have learned anything in my years on earth, it is that everyone has something in their life that makes for extra stress and I would assume that this rang true back then too. Money was just as tight, kids were just as daunting, and bosses were not anymore understanding.....so what was it then?
In my humble opinion, it comes down to the effort each partner made to make the other one happy and make sure they feel appreciated in their role. YEP I SAID ROLE! Men and woman have natural roles and we naturally fill them well.

"The housewife" - When did this start meaning rich, no job, with full time nanny and gold digger? It used to be a title that woman carried with pride for the efforts she  made at home taking care of her man, their kids and daily runnings of the house, meals and schedules. Why can a woman not be happy doing what she does  best? Get over your power trip, even if you do work full time and take care of your man....as long as he is....

"The Man of the House" - Don't get me wrong....only real men deserve retro woman. We have no issue telling a boy who's father is absent that he should feel this role, but we can't tell a grown man that his place is at the head of the table and in front of the family being a provider, a protector and anchor of the family.

There is nothing wrong with making your man happy, the retro way! As a woman you are the one who makes the small daily decisions and your behavior will cause a real man to rise to those expectations. So follow those guidelines, put in the work and you may be surprised at what you get in return.

Men are easy...
The quickest way to a mans heart is through his stomach!
The easiest way to get his love is to give him love!
A mans home is his castle!
